RentMen:
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like others to absolutely know about you?
Aiden_Affair:
I have a bit of a resting‑bitch face and I’m shy and introverted, so people sometimes think I’m pretentious... but I’m actually the opposite. I didn’t grow up wealthy, though I got a great education and my parents taught me solid values. I’ve got a big heart and a lot of empathy. I’m not overly emotional all the time, but I try to be kind and not be an asshole every day. That’s something people should know about me. I genuinely think that if there's one thing we should do every day, aside of brushing your teeth, it's to not be an asshole!
RentMen:
What are 5 things you can’t live without?
Aiden_Affair:
Well I don't know if i can't live without it, but let's say they'd be on my necessity list if I had to jump on a space ship to escape Earth: my toothbrush and dental floss (yah, I'm very OCD about it), my tennis racket, my Harold & Maude and A Clockwork Orange DVDs, my pup Rusty, and NY Cheesecake.
RentMen:
Tell us about the best experience you have had in life.
Aiden_Affair:
Hard to pin down one! I’ll go with my Ironmans, ultramarathons, and the four of the Seven Summits I climbed. Those achievements didn’t just test physical limits... they forged discipline, resilience, and calm under pressure. As someone who’s built a career in sales & marketing across hospitality and wellness, traveling to over 60 countries to help bring the spa industry together and move it forward globally, I turn that same grit into leadership, problem‑solving, and relationship‑building. It made me more adventurous, dependable, and relentless... qualities that, at work, helped me inspire teams, navigate high‑stakes deals, and deliver results.
RentMen:
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
Aiden_Affair:
My regular work allowed me to visit nearly 60 countries, but now I’m a little quieter. Travel is still a passion, though less frequent. I go abroad about a dozen times a year. The rest of the time I’m a homebody with my pup Rusty.
My happy places are South Africa and Black Rock City, but there are tons of places I’d love to see: scuba diving in Egypt, hiking to the summit of Mt. Fuji, street BBQ in South Korea, mountaineering in Antarctica, and literally everything in Patagonia.
