If we sat on the beach and drank wine and ate great food just you and I, what would you tell me about yourself and your life?
KidneyScrapa:
You know, there’s still a huge social stigma around working guys, this line of work, and adult work in general. Many—if not most—assume we’re damaged goods, down-and-out, or victims of circumstance who are forced to sell ourselves for money. In my case, and in the case of many guys I know, nothing could be further from the truth. Most of us do this because we genuinely enjoy it, even though our motivations may differ.

So I’d tell you about my upbringing in a Catholic boarding school, how I graduated from high school at 16 and joined the U.S. Army. How I went to medical school and served my country with distinction, becoming a young non-commissioned officer and an Army Achievement Medal awardee. How I later became a senior healthcare executive and then a federal information security IT project manager, responsible for overseeing millions of dollars in contract management for my agency. I’d tell you how I eventually walked away from all of that to start a very successful company, one that I still run today, allwhile moonlighting, off and on, as a companion.

Did I need the money? Not really. So why do it, one might ask? That answer comes very easily to me: because I FUCKING LOVE IT!

What would you like your readers to know about you that is unique and even a bit personal?
KidneyScrapa:
I sometimes get requests to send a face photo before booking. My response? Absolutely not! If a companion doesn’t post face photos, there’s usually a reason—and mine is simple: I have a career outside of this work. Some might even say I’m considered a public figure in many social and professional circles in Washington, DC.

I would never ask a client to send me a photo before agreeing to meet, so I don’t believe I should be expected—or pressured—to provide one either. DC is a unique city. Unlike many other places in the U.S. and around the world, we take discretion seriously. We pride ourselves on not airing our personal & private laundry.

That said, if you are a potential client that requiers a face photo, I absolutely encourage them to book with a service provider who includes them in their profile. And if you're concered about my boyish good looks… let’s just say I wouldn’t have lasted as long as I have in this industry (off and on for 10+ years) if I were a “butta-face” (everything looks good but the face). LOL.

What should others absolutely know about you?
KidneyScrapa:
What others should absolutely know about me is that—cliché as it may sound—I’m a companion because I genuinely love it, not out of financial need. Don’t get me wrong, the money is great, but it’s not my primary motivation. This is one of the coolest and most enjoyable experiences I’ve ever had, and I get to live it on my own terms.

For me, it’s about connection. I care deeply about connecting with people on a level that goes beyond the physical. I understand that physical connection matters—we all need that—but for me, the vibe has to be right. I’ve been doing this work on and off for years, and the one thing that has always held true is that when the vibe is there, the experience is far more enjoyable for both parties.

That’s also why I’ve turned down about 80% of repeat booking requests—because I felt the vibe was off. When clients ask how long I think I’ll keep doing this work, the answer is always simple: until it stops being fun.

What do you enjoy most about yourself?
KidneyScrapa:
The fact that I don't judge. Never have and don't understand those who do. Not sure where I got this trait from as I grew up in a pretty high-brow environment. I would be considered, what those who grew up in the 60-70's would call, a hippy. I've always bucked at the conservative establishment. This helped me later on in life once I discover I was also attracted to men, when I met and became friends with the first trans person I've saw (this was back in the day when no one understood much about trans peoples) and when I got into the kink/fetish scene. I consider myself a open book, I want to meet as many people as I can and learn something from each and every single one of them. Hopefully, during that process that learn a little something from me.
