RentMen:
What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
King_Kris:
TLDR: crafty things, 3D printing & games
The full story: Generally, I'm a pretty crafty person, my main hobby I adopted over COVID was 3d printing! I built my printer just as lockdown started and spent a lot of time tinkering, printing and designing! I like making solutions to little problems and fun things for around the house, or personalised gifts for friends! As well as 3d printing I love designing crafty things, form how I decor my room, spray paint art and planets, to making harnesses, I'm always creating something!
I love gaming too, most of the time it's Pokemon or Mario kart, anything with mates I love, usually they love it less because I win! I play a lot of strategy games, city builders & love boardgames too! Especially Catan.
As mentioned in other questions, I also love cycling, nature and the outdoors, but you can read my other answers for that!
RentMen:
How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
King_Kris:
TL;DR: I love to travel but don’t get to as much as I’d like!
The Full Story: I’m all about traveling, which I think most people would say the same, however, What makes it special for me isn’t just the destinations; it’s the whole process. The fun starts long before the airport, I love the logistics and planning! Hunting for deals, mapping out unique experiences, and finding hidden gems and local places instead of the usual tourist traps!
I also have a soft spot for airports. I worked in them for years and enjoy watching planes taxi and take off, listening to air traffic control, and relaxing in the lounge. Airports aren’t stressful for me to be honest they’re part of the adventure!
When I travel, I’m all about meeting new people, embracing unfamiliar cultures, and seeking out the less obvious spots. For example, in Japan, I went on a custom excursion to the Fukushima power plant, not exactly a typical tourist destination, but it’s the kind of thing I love! I enjoy finding local bars and cafes far from the usual tourist areas and experiencing the daily life of the locals.
I definitely wish I could travel more, work has kept me busy, but I’m planning to change that soon!
RentMen:
What are 5 things you can’t live without?
King_Kris:
TL;DR: Family, Phone, my bike, my bed, and garlic bread.
The Full Story: This might show my age a bit ha, but I really can’t live without my phone. Not for the reasons you’d think, though! It’s my main connection back home to the UK for staying in touch with family and friends. Plus, as someone self-employed, my phone is my go-to for getting through the day’s tasks!
Family is everything to me. They keep me grounded, motivated, and are my biggest cheerleaders. Without them, I’d feel lost, They are very important to me!
I LOVE cycling. I built my own bike back when I was a bike mechanic, and riding single tracks through forests brings me so much joy. Plus, it’s my main way of getting around, so without it, I’d be both stuck and not doing cardio ahha!
I’m all about my sleep. My comfy Euro mattress is essential, without it, I’d be the grumpiest guy around, and get nothing done! Also, a good bed is great for other activities too. ;)
Lastly, garlic bread… it just speaks for itself. I eat way too much of it, but it’s my ultimate comfort food. Honestly, if I were stuck on an island with an unlimited supply of garlic bread, I’d be just fine!
RentMen:
What should others absolutely know about you?
King_Kris:
TL;DR: Be kind, respect me, and you'll have someone you can trust with your life!
The Full Story: I’m chaotic fun but grounded and real. I’m that person you call to help move house, have a chat, or just laugh. With a bit of ADHD-ness, my stories and thoughts can be all over the place but I feel in the best way! I’m outgoing, bold, and love making people smile (or making you cum ha!). I dress to impress and always aim to make everyone feel included, no matter what I’m doing.
Family and friends are everything to me, those important to me always come first, and I extend that same care to everyone in my life. I’m loyal, generous with my time, and always up for an adventure. I believe in being kind, supportive, and genuine, and I bring that energy to every interaction.
I also prioritise my own education and wellbeing, I'm always studying or learning something new, or working on my fitness and mental wellbeing. I love working for myself and take great pride in my work and all of the parties I have a hand in running.
