A: I would probably want to talk about growing up as an adopted only child and then being reunited with my birth family as an adult. I never get tired of telling that story - so take me on a beach picnic and you'll definitely hear ALL about it!
A: That's almost impossible for me to answer - but the first thing that comes to my head is my early experience as an actor. Doing theatre allowed me to explore parts of myself that I might have been afraid to face otherwise, and to overcome any shyness or hesitation about being my real self, no matter what. It also turned me into kind of a show-off, which definitely helps in my current career, too 😏
A: I don't know if it's up to me to decide, but I would have to say that I'm most grateful for my open-minded attitude and my natural curiosity - these are the qualities that have always led me to experiences that I never could or would have had, otherwise. If we're talking about PHYSICAL traits, well... check out my photo gallery and decide for yourself!
A: I love to travel, but I don't get to do it often. It's a goal of mine to change that, so if anybody wants to book me for a weekend somewhere exciting, let's talk! 😉
A: I have a skill for seeing past bullsh*t, so don't even try it.
A: This kind of goes along with the things I do for fun, obviously: Work out, see an interesting film, have a great meal (FYI I'm also a great cook), hang out with cool people. Basically, all the stuff I need to do in order to live a satisfying life.
A: I always make an effort to be real. Even when I am working, I try to always be exactly who I am, never pretending to be any certain kind of way just to please somebody else (it helps that I am open-minded, trust me on that one) or hide behind meaningless small talk. In fact, I can honestly say that I "hate" small talk, and that's saying a lot because I try not to "hate" anything or anybody.
Also, when it comes to having a fun experience with someone, they should know that I am always going to put myself into it 100% because I want us BOTH to be happy when it's done!
A: If I have to narrow it down:
Good food,
Great art (especially cinema),
A fantastic workout,
Amazing sex,
Cool other people to hang out with.
The last two kind of go hand-in-hand, but not exclusively 😉
A: Simple. I remember that everybody, no matter who they are or what they do or how they look at the world, is struggling to make sense of it all just as much as I am. When you realize that, it's easy to forgive people for not always being the best version of themself they can be. That also makes it easier to be kind, and to help them other along their way just as you hope others would help you in your times of need.
A: I won't lie: I'm lucky enough to say that what I do for work and what I do for fun are "intimately" connected... I mean, this is RentMen, right? I could also say that I love to work out, that going to the gym is like meditation for me, it soothes my soul and makes me remember that I'm alive. But I'm not just about the pleasures of the body; I'm also an avid thinker, a naturally curious student of life who looks at every day as a chance to learn something new about being human. And if you REALLY want to get me excited, start me up on a conversation about movies - and by "movies" I mean "cinema", the art of it, the power of it, its ability to give us experiences we would never have, otherwise - and we'll definitely have something to talk about when we stop to take a breather. If you know what I mean! 😉
A: It's not complicated, although I am a big fan of intermittent fasting. Basically, I eat reasonable portions, try to move around as much as possible to stay flexible, and go to the gym (weight training, cardio, yoga, kettlebells - I like to mix up my workouts) five days a week. I'm a night-owl so sleep is sometimes an issue, but if I feel myself running out of steam I always take the time to get the rest I need. So far, it's all working out fine!
A: I don't know if it's unique but it's certainly personal and it's definitely relevant here on RM - I get turned on by turning other people on. If you want to know more about that, book a session with me and I'll gladly show you what I mean 😉
A: I like to think it's because I don't care whether I stand out in the crowd or not. The people who get me will find me, and I will find them.
A: I've done a lot of things and worn a lot of hats over the years, and the only way I can really describe my lifestyle is to say that, wherever my path takes me, I always just try to bring myself, with no pretense and without caring about whether or not I "fit in." I take care of my physical health, I like to challenge my mind, I love art and books and especially MOVIES, and I try to maintain an overall balance between all areas of my life. Of course, I do enjoy some of them better than others (especially if they involve being naked with another person or, persons), so I definitely let myself indulge in those things whenever I have the chance!
A: I'm sure that other people see me and feel the need to classify me according to some sort of label - Daddy, Gym Rat, Guy Next Door, etc. - but I like to think my "niche" is not fitting into any niche. I embrace all the things that make me "Me", but I think we are all much greater than the sum of our parts so I try to never let any of them define who I am or what I have to offer. That said, when the occasion demands, I never hesitate to put on my most appropriate "hat" for any given situation and commit 100% to whatever role I'm called on to play - in life and in my profession.
A: There are so many things, but if I have to pinpoint a single quality it would be my ability to approach life with an open mind. That allows all the other things I enjoy about myself to be possible - my sense of humor, my fondness for connecting with other people, my adventurous attitude, my commitment to living my life, as I define it, to its fullest. And of course, it has also helped me explore my sexuality, which is DEFINITELY one of the things I enjoy most about myself!
