A: I am pretty outgoing and, if I daresay so myself, charming. Part of it is my wit, part of it is my smile, part of it is the twinkle in my eye. I'm a ginger, so that also helps, but it definitely helped me cultivate a personality in my youth! My talents, personality traits, and sense of self certainly help differentiate me from others as well.
A: I absolutely love to sing/perform singing. I share this as something personal because I turned to singing from a very young age to have something for myself, something that soothed my anxiety and something I found aspirational to become good at. A lot of my identity was wrapped in my voice when I was younger, and it's helped me figure out more about who I am as a person. I've performed in small groups and choirs and even solo on stage and video, and it's truly my biggest passion and something I love to do. I find it terrifying and beautiful, it's incredibly vulnerable for me to sing for others.
A: I enjoy my sense of humor and wit a lot. I really love making people laugh and have a good time around me, and it's lent to me cultivating a bit of a sharp and cheeky wit. I find that it helps break the ice and foster a sense of mental connection. Mental stimulation is very enjoyable for me, and I think for a lot of others as well- it helps us enjoy each other's presence and live in the moment.
There are other things I enjoy about myself, but you'll be able to figure those out for yourself. ;)
A: To be honest, I absolutely LOVE to travel. I wouldn't say I do it very often, maybe once a year somewhere to visit friends or family. I do like to visit Japan every 4-5 years, however. I'm a huge fan of Japanese culture, language, history, and food (I do speak quite a bit of Japanese as well, but do not consider myself fluent). I'm actually overdue for a trip as I write this.
On the whole, I tend to be more of a homebody on my own. However, I do love going out and traveling with the right people! Those memories to be made are priceless. I'd love to do more traveling in my near future!
A: I try my absolute utmost to live by the Golden Rule: to do unto others as you would have them do unto you. To me, this means I do my best to respectful of others, to treat them kindly, and show them compassion. I find that the self-awareness that comes with it being part of my OS helps a lot in reading a room, finding common ground, and sharing human decency. It enhances the human experience!
A: I would probably open up a bit about my upbringing- I'm originally from San Diego, so the beach is absolutely an integral part of who I am today. Growing up, I loved going to the beach- making memories with friends and family, having bonfires and bodyboarding, and enjoying barbecues. When I moved back to San Diego after having lived in Los Angeles, I went to Black's Beach (a clothing optional beach) for the first time with some friends It was so different and liberating, but also felt comforting and empowering.
Before moving back to San Diego, I was pretty shy about my body and being naked. However, that changed when I joined a Boylesque troupe and began chasing the rush of performing in that regard on stage. Going back to where I grew up and realizing how much I'd changed and become more comfortable in my skin was a truly great awakening for me.
Seeing the sunset with a nice glass of wine and some great company would be a pretty ideal ground for some introspective and deep conversation- which is something I love!
