If we sat on the beach and drank wine and ate great food just you and I, what would you tell me about yourself and your life?
Matteociccotti:
Honestly, with good wine, great food and the sea in front of us, I’d probably forget I was supposed to be telling you about myself and end up talking about everything instead. 😄 I’d tell you some stories about where I’ve been, the random experiences that shaped me, the things I’m fascinated by, and probably a few things I wouldn’t put on a profile. But mostly, I’d want to hear your stories too. I think the best way to get to know me is through a conversation that starts somewhere and somehow ends up everywhere.

How do you go the 'Extra Mile' in your life?
Matteociccotti:
I think it comes down to effort and attention. If something matters to me, I rarely do it halfway. I’ll put in the extra time, learn more, notice the little details and find ways to make the experience better — whether it’s for myself or someone else. I like surprising people, exceeding expectations and turning something ordinary into something memorable. For me, going the extra mile isn’t really about doing more for the sake of it; it’s about genuinely caring about the outcome.

What distinguishes you from all the other people you know?
Matteociccotti:
Probably the way I combine intensity with curiosity. I can be playful, spontaneous and completely up for an adventure, but I’m also someone who loves going deeper — understanding people, behaviour, science, or simply why things are the way they are. I genuinely enjoy people and tend to give them my full attention, so whether we’re having a ridiculous amount of fun or a conversation at 3am about life, I’m usually 100% in the moment.

What would you say are your greatest attributes?
Matteociccotti:
I’d say curiosity, openness and being genuinely present. I’m naturally interested in people and what makes them who they are, so I tend to connect quite easily and enjoy conversations that go beyond the surface. I’m also very adaptable, spontaneous and open to new experiences. And when I care about something — or someone — I give it my full attention and energy.
