A: I love to travel as a reprieve from my surroundings once in a while, but I will usually be having the best time if I'm the one making the plans. But eventually, I want to be back at my "homebase".

If a plan fell through, there's dozens of other things to do in the moment instead. If I'm feeling down, I can use tools to help that. I'm going the extra mile by recognizing what the next possibility is at all times, instead of just endlessly ruminating. I view it as going the extra mile, but for yourself first.

A: I appreciate that I've taken the time to incorporate mindfulness into my mindset over the last decade. I set boundaries but don't take things personally, I hold strong beliefs but don't believe every situation requires my imput, I don't entertain every thought that passes through my head as one of the importance, and I recognize that I don't need to focus on the opinions of strangers, because in truth, they aren't holding one and are not really paying attention to me at all.
