A: Probably whatever story came up naturally instead of giving you my résumé. I’d tell you about some ridiculous night working an event, a song I’m obsessed with, something weird I noticed about the city we’re in, or somewhere I want to travel next. I’d probably be asking you just as many questions too, because chemistry is a lot more interesting when both people are actually curious about each other.
A: Music, humor, independence, real human connection, and something creative to work on. I’m a lot happier when I’m building, producing, designing, planning or making something instead of just sitting still.
A: There isn’t some completely different version of me hiding behind the profile. I’m still relaxed, curious, funny and direct when we meet. The difference is that in person you get my full attention, and I’m a lot better at showing chemistry than trying to describe it.
A: DJing and music, photography, design, nightlife and events, finding new restaurants and exploring different parts of the city. I also genuinely like learning how things work and getting way too into whatever creative project I’m working on at the moment.
A: I pay attention. I’m usually thinking one step ahead about what could make something easier, more comfortable or more memorable. That applies to work, events, friendships and meeting somebody privately. Little details matter to me because they’re usually what make something actually stick with you.
A: Music is a big one. I DJ, go to shows, find new music and probably spend way too much time going down random music rabbit holes. I also like good restaurants, photography and design, exploring Minneapolis, traveling when I can, and being around people who make me laugh.
A: I don’t know that I have one big dramatic answer. Some of the best experiences in my life have come from putting myself in situations where I had to create something, meet new people, figure things out as I went and trust myself. Being around music, events and creative people has taught me a lot about confidence, adaptability and how different people connect.
A: I think it’s the combination of confidence and being easy to be around. I can be direct and take charge without making everything feel heavy or overly serious. I’m actually interested in the person I’m with instead of just going through the motions, and I think people notice that pretty quickly.
A: I’m observant, dependable, creative and pretty adaptable. I listen closely, remember details and usually pick up on what somebody means even when they don’t say it directly. I’m also genuinely funny in person, which probably does more to make people comfortable than anything I could write here.
A: Probably confident and masculine without making a whole thing out of it. I naturally like taking the lead, but I’m not interested in playing some exaggerated character. I like chemistry, closeness, humor and intensity all being part of the same experience. Especially with somebody newer or a little nervous, I’m good at making things feel natural instead of intimidating.
A: Minneapolis is home, but I like getting out of town when there’s a good reason to. I enjoy the change of energy that comes with being in another city, meeting new people and finding places I wouldn’t normally see. At the same time, I like having a home base and a routine to come back to.
A: I like staying active and keeping myself in shape, but I’m not trying to make fitness my whole personality. I care about looking good, feeling strong and having energy. I also actually enjoy food, going out and living normally, so balance matters more to me than being perfect about it.
A: Creative, social and independent. A lot of my world revolves around music, nightlife, events and meeting interesting people, but I also really value having my own space and downtime. I like places with personality, good music, good conversation and people who are comfortable being themselves.
A: I probably think about the experience more than people would expect. I notice details like the mood, the music, the lighting, whether somebody seems nervous, and what actually helps them loosen up. I like making people feel comfortable enough that they can stop overthinking things and just enjoy themselves.
A: I’m pretty much the person you see in my profile. My photos are current, I communicate clearly, and if we make plans, I take them seriously. In person I’m relaxed, confident and easy to talk to. I’d rather have real chemistry than make something feel scripted or overly transactional.
A: I like that I can connect with a lot of different kinds of people without changing who I am. I’m confident and pretty direct, but I also have a sense of humor and don’t take myself too seriously. I’m good at reading the energy in a room and knowing when to lead, when to slow down, or when somebody just needs to relax and laugh a little.
