RentMen: How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or are you more of a homebody?
JosephAfterHourz: I travel often between California, Texas, and other cities, but I’ve also become more of a homebody. Owning a home has made me appreciate stability, investing in my future, and staying ahead financially while still enjoying the freedom to travel.
Full Answer:
Owning a home is incredibly rewarding, but it also teaches you quickly that everything costs money. As a home ages, things need to be repaired or replaced, and I see that as protecting an investment I’ve worked hard for. My home motivates me to keep pushing, grow my businesses, stay ahead financially, and eventually pay everything off. I never want to struggle just to keep up, so I try to think ahead.
I still travel often. I have another studio in Texas, visit different cities around California, and love hearing from people asking when I’ll be coming to their area. Lately, though, I’ve become more of a homebody. Between managing businesses, my studio, travel, designing, house projects, and life in general, being home has given me space to slow down, discover more about myself, and focus on what I’m building for the future.
